HANNAH CARRICK

Hannah Carrick (b. 1988, Australia) is a Byron Bay-based artist known for her vibrant use of color and texture, exploring biophilia—the deep connection between humans and nature. Her work delves into introspection, self-reflection, and emotional healing.

“For me, creating with my hands brings healing and solitude. Painting is my therapy, my escape during darker times,” she shares.

Her bold palettes and layered textures, often depicting femininity and the female form, create a contemplative dialogue between humanity and nature. Carrick has held four solo exhibitions, including at Rainbow Studios (Sydney) and Yeah Nice Gallery (Byron Bay), and has shown in group exhibitions at Tappan (Los Angeles) and Hake House (Sydney).

She is represented internationally by The Tappan Collective (Los Angeles).

For me, the process of creating and using my hands generates a sense of healing and solitude. Painting and color is my therapy, my escape during darker times. I see my works as little windows of sunshine, nostalgia, and inspiration.
