FEBRUARY GROUP SHOW 2023
In February, Cohle Gallery will be happy to present you the work of 5 international artists never exhibited in France before and will take you on a journey through their worlds
Czech artist Jan Rybnicek, whose interest in mysticism, irony and irrationality is reflected in his work composed of various forms, objects and faces, will be accompanied by Jocelyn Tsaih, California-based Taiwanese artist , whose central character is an amorphous figure intended to be both a receptacle for her own perspective and a reflection to which viewers can contribute their own ideas.
American artist Julie Mauskop will take you into a world that oscillates between reality and dream. She imagines through her painting how a dancer expresses himself through body shapes and body movements. The work of Nigerian artist Nathaniel Bolarinwa whose colorful and saturated paintings feature men and women whose flesh has been replaced by tree bark and branches, representing a form of reincarnation of the soul, a "botanical being".
Finally, we will also have the pleasure of presenting the work of South Korean artist Ryu Ahyoung who is interested in themes connected to childhood.
